About the Course

The most recent course addition to the Paiute family is the WOLF course, and is this writer's personal favorite in a city that offers many tremendous golf courses. The theme here is "long," measuring 7511 yards from the back tees- intimidating for even the most skilled player. Along with the length, Dye made sure to cause problems for big hitters by utilizing the natural desert wash areas that surround the entire facility, thus requiring players to be long and accurate from the tee boxes to clear the ravines and find the short grass. The fairways are tight and the greens are small; there is simply very little room for error if you plan on scoring well at this course. However, for better players who demand the very best, the Paiute WOLF course delivers on every level.

Todd Says!

Golf to Dye for. Pete Dye brings the only 54-hole facility to Las Vegas, and we consider it, quite simply, to be the best value in Vegas for true, premier golf! During overseed consider, well, one of the other courses at Paiute.

Paiute Wolf Course is a part of the Paiute Golf Resort

If you could play golf in heaven, who would be your course architect? Okay, maybe Him, but for those of us who rely on mere mortals to design our courses, we can always look to Pete Dye for comfort (or lack thereof). The Paiute Golf Resort delivers exceptional golf with three of the finest desert layouts in the Las Vegas Valley: Sun Mountain, Snow Mountain, and the Wolf Course. These courses are, in fact, the only Pete Dye designs in the state of Nevada and will provide all golfers with one, two, or three truly enjoyable rounds of golf while visiting Las Vegas.

We simply cannot do the courses justice by writing about it. It is something you must experience to appreciate, and those who do will be rewarded with a facility that is as good as it gets for desert golf. This is a definite "must play" and with surprisingly affordable green fees (especially Sun thru Thu), there is simply no excuse for not making it out to Paiute the next time you play golf in Las Vegas.
