About the Course

As you guessed from the name, this course is one of only two Jack Nicklaus designed courses in the United States that have the distinction of being called "Bear's Best" (the other is in Atlanta, GA). At Bear's Best Las Vegas, Nicklaus has created a fantastic, challenging, and unique layout by replicating holes from over 200 courses he has designed worldwide.

Bear's Best is the latest addition of golf courses to the northwest section of the valley- well known at this point for combining outstanding golf, fantastic views of the Las Vegas skyline, and unique course designs that are world-class. The management team at Bears Best takes exceptional pride in service and golf course conditions that are noticeable from the moment you pull into the parking lot.

One will appreciate the caddie program at Bears Best, as well. All groups are required to have a four-caddie along for the ride, however you will need it as you attempt to manage your way around this tough track. Bears Best is neither exceptionally long nor tight, but there are many distinct features (such as black sand bunkers) that require the advice of someone who has played the course. There is a saying in Las Vegas that if you want to learn how to play a table game, make sure you "listen to the dealer." The same rule applies here; if you want to score well and truly enjoy your experience at Bear's Best, make sure you "listen to the caddie." The amenities, caddie program, and world-class golf at Bears Best add up to one thing: A "must play" on your next trip to Las Vegas.

Yes!...it's that good. Quite simply, if it's in your budget, play Bear's Best. During overseed season, try TPC at the Canyons as a great premier facility- located just down the street from this one.
